This is why so many underdeveloped, yet highly talented prospects flame out in both college and the NFL. Quite frankly, I can’t say that the large majority of players even in my era of college football would’ve been able to handle Belichick’s coaching style in college!

The game is currently more player-led by those with elite talent who have handcuffed college coaches into becoming more recruiters, relationship managers, and ego coddlers, than true LEADERS OF MEN, who’re able to coach them up to maximize their potential.

Simply put, Bill is not for the BS, and he will bring a level of detail and professionalism to the PROCESSES of development for young football players at the college level that hasn’t really been seen in recent memory.
