Can you do some kind of shared care agreement with the GP to private prescribe meds? That's what people with private HRT can sometimes do, though I'll admit I don't know much about it. That way you pay less/can do one of those pre-pay certificate things.

For big house the rooms are mainly surprisingly small and thin. And I feel that some commitments have not been made (mainly the turquoise room I think has completely the wrong floor).

Me either, but that was my best guess!

Is he emailing other people as well? So he's saying 'copied in above' to make you aware it's gone to other people and making them aware it's basically aimed at you?

Sorry, realised I wasn't clear - For Whom the Belle Tolls has two narrators, so my second post either/or is the same book for both people.

No worries! The first one is Hail Mary by Andy Weir (also a film but I haven't seen it yet). The second one is For Whom the Belle Tolls by Jaysea Lynn.

I'm so glad I got to meet him and be at your handfasting, it's a really happy memory for me when I'd only just moved to the city. He was a lovely guy.

Alternatively for a finished book I'm either a woman who has just passed young from cancer and is now finding her place in the afterlife including setting up a help desk in hell, or I'm a 7' tall demon general/prince who's big on friendship and respect - in both cases I'm very much a nerd.

I'm a scientist turned high school teacher on a spaceship light years from Earth trying to communicate with an alien alongside solving an issue which is killing the Sun. ..... I would be So Bad at all aspects of that, and also haven't finished the book yet so don't know if I survive!

Spiritfarer doesn't have combat but there are some reaction time elements, but also it's beautiful (even if I've yet to finish it)

Possibly - will investigate! (I understand why they took Ranitidine off the market, but also argh!)

.... I'm going to have to look at my entire diet in the new year aren't I? as someone who doesn't really enjoy cooking .... and I'm in the UK so I can't even do your patented antihistamine regime cos we can't get H2 off prescription .... thank you for your reply and the help you give people though!

Thank you - I was noticing that half an hour to an hour after eating my breakfast I was hit-the-wall tired. For other reasons I changed my breakfast fruit to not have bananas and the effect seems a little lessened. Oh joy. I don't get the flush, but lots of small MCAS-like symptoms are adding up. :(

Can I ask about bananas? I recently changed my breakfast fruits and I'm curious.

It's very not my taste and I'd be overstimulated in 0.0005 seconds, but they have had fun with it which is wonderful, there are some lovely pieces of furniture in there, and It's Not Grey! (the Pan nonchalantly hanging out on the kitchen island is a little disconcerting, but eh)

Thank you so much for this! It always bugs me when I visit that it's so far off but now I know the reason it will amuse and amaze me instead!

This reminds me of a friend who, along with her partner, makes usually fannish themed gingerbread every year (including one year Ewok village with Ewoks) and which I anticipate the photos of every year.

Well it works!

Not at all ugly! I like that lipstick colour on you. You're reminding me of a British actress but for the life of me I'm failing to pin down who (I guarantee you I'll remember at 3am in about 10 days and then forget again by the time I wake up!)

Whereas while I grew up a few miles from Blackpool my parents were southerners so never uttered the phrase! But did tend to the close-the-door 'were you born in a barn?'

I'm sorry for your loss. And yes, nothing about an artificial imitation world have any value.
December 11, 2025 at 12:18 PM
Have you seen the UK trailer? There's a bit where they address a particular phrasing I think you had objections to and I thought of you when I heard it! :)

I love this channel! I can recommend the first two Tags, Capture the Flag, and both Hide and Seeks - the rest are all good too, it's just those ones are my favourites!
