Interestingly enough I remember doing some digging in the dialogue and General Tullius straight up goes "yeah we're not happy about banning Talos, if it weren't for this uprising we'd be building strength to throw off the treaty forced upon us."

Based on the ~15 seconds of gameplay it looks like they're going the Empire at War route. I'll reserve judgement for now but I'm still not convinced that it's going to "feel" like a Total War game.

I've been seeing a lot of "I do not regret to inform you that we are going to win" posts lately and I'm getting increasingly concerned about what the definition of winning is.

I can see a legal argument for "hey we made a licensing deal with this company, not you, purge your training data of our stuff" Which I imagine is precedent none of these companies want but it does nonetheless feel strange.
