The number of deaths caused by antimicrobial resistance is predicted to rise from 1 millio to 2 million death per year by 2050. Reasons:
- Too few new drugs
- Excessive use of antibiotics in agriculture
- Antibiotics overuse in medical practice
- Lack of awareness

WHO #pertussis case definition misses many infections, needs revision, study suggests

Compared with WHO's definition, a modified definition including apnea but not cough duration boosted sensitivity but reduced specificity.

Do we need to split the MMR vaccine into 3 shots?

No.

-No medical reason. Current vax has no safety issues and works very well
-Kids don’t like needles. Why give them 3x the shots?
-Peds office already have limited bandwidth. Who staffs 3x the visits?
