Lucky to have a friend who does ceramics as a serious hobby and whose "glaze disaster" pieces she can't stand to have in her house I find absolutely delightful.
A heavy, rounded handmade mug sits on a coffee table filled with black tea. It has different shades of cool blue glaze incompletely covering a tan ceramic base that gives an effect of mountains emerging from clouds.

Toys are my favorite thing to knit because you can see them come to life in your hands.
A vaguely lemon shaped piece of stuffed light and dark brown knitting with plastic eyes. The stuffed orb has sprouted a muzzle and two ears but still lays helplessly on a cream colored blanket. Head attached to a body that looks a bit like a tube sock. It has a round brown bottom and a gray tube torso with a lime green stripe. Long thin legs and arms are partly attached to the body, with many free yarn ends sticking out.

A tale of two chickens...

Late fall garden senescence. 🌱
