PRIVACY: Bluesky is fundamentally an open and public network, and your posts are public data. But you can make them a *little* less public by flipping this switch under Settings > Moderation. It forces Bluesky app users to log in to view your posts (and you're less likely to show up in searches). 🧵

i THINK enabling this will help fend off ai scrapers to an extent, since it’s typically an automated script so won’t be able to log in + scrape the images you’ve posted ??
it looks like bsky is open about workarounds being possible but it may be better than nothing 💞
