Today marks 84 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor.

December 7th 1941 may seem far removed. It was just a mere lifetime ago.

Today, let us honor the sacrifice of those who served abroad & those who served at home to defend this nation against fascist tyranny.

The holiday season is joyful for many - but a costly, stressful, and difficult time for others. Granite Staters deserve leaders focused on affordability and prosperity for all, not just a select few.

“We have to do more as a city & as a state for affordable housing if we want to grow”

Huge thanks to Jane & co. at the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter for hosting Senate & House Democrats for a very touching discussion on what can be done better for the unhoused.

Congratulations to Mr. Aadi Kulkarni of Nashua for his outstanding contributions toward digital literacy education through TechPals, in addition to his efforts towards water policy! Senator Rosenwald offered a resolution to recognize his great work on behalf of the NH Senate.

Today, Senate & House Democrats heard firsthand from individuals who’ve faced homelessness.

Their stories are heartbreaking & all too common.

Putting people on the street is a policy decision. Cutting red tape means nothing if we don’t fund affordable housing.

Strong words from Manchester’s Senator Pat Long today:

“Elderly people are calling me…they got evicted because their rent went from $1000 to $1895…they’ve always paid their rent on time. Thinking that they now have a record of an eviction is mind blowing”

Yesterday, State Democrats toured the Rochester Childcare Center. In the face of cuts, the challenges they face are existential.

Republicans’ budget gave tens of millions to private schools, but peanuts to childcare.

That is fiscally irresponsible, and morally reprehensible.

Once again, Senate and House democratic leaders have boots on the ground to see firsthand how community childcare centers do the best they can to serve our working families.

Twin River and other critical resources persist with pride amid tariffs and scant funding from Concord.
