So excited to invite you all to Poetry Night at the @westendcentre in Aldershot on Thursday 26th June. There will be readings from our wonderful Poetry for Wellbeing group and an open mic session for anyone to read a poem - we’d love to hear one of your poems, or a poem you love. Everyone welcome!

Managed to get my hands on an advance copy of this from @bloodaxebooks.bsky.social this week. It’s brilliant, and important.

Had a brilliant evening at the National Poetry Awards @poetrysociety.bsky.social last night. Congratulations to everyone - I loved all the winning poems. And London was pretty.

Farnham, the traffic may be terrible and I may not have much voice, but I’m super-excited to bring you some poetry tonight!

After years in the classroom and much trial and error, this is the trio I find most successful at keeping germs away. But I’ve run poetry workshops for nearly 1000 kids this week and even these musketeers couldn’t handle it - first sore throat and sniffle in a year 🤧😭😂 oh well, it was worth it!

I am obsessed with this poem and have told Em this at least twice, which is a bit embarrassing 😂

Saw this sign under an exhibit at a museum. I want it on a t-shirt so much 😂

All on my own at @painshill.bsky.social today but looking forward to the return of my poets for the first workshop of the year on Feb 24th. These ducks had no interest in poetry.

My #LiftToTheSky for @brokenspinearts.bsky.social is this gorgeous collection from Victoria Gatehouse. Read it tucked up in bed and you’ll still feel like you’re outside 🌲
