Getting back into reading, so I've been buying the Dungeon Crawler Carl hardcovers from @barnesandnoble.com and only now, having bought 5 books in 9 days do I realize they are not price matching their own website/app. Thats pretty anti-consumer, and they should be ashamed.

It is absolutely shocking to me how much this tasted like nothing. If you really concentrate while eating it, you can get a hint of flavor that you will never know if you made up to fool yourself into enjoying it.

The little joy I'm starting my day with is making my son breakfast this morning. It was just microwaving a Jimmy Dean McGriddle thing, but he really enjoyed it and it was a little act of service that I got to do for him. Feels good!

My son gets so excited to show off things he gets. He bought himself a messenger bag and he cannot wait to get to school. I love that for him.

Sitting here reading and I hear my 8 pound Yorkie running up the basement stairs. He makes a lot of noise for such a tiny guy. He was hiding a snack I had just given him. Why do dogs do that?

Got regular Blu Rays of Final Destination 1 - 5, Pitch Perfect 1 - 3, Phantom of the Opera, and the Jordan Peele 3 movie collection today in the mail. It was a good mail day! Physical Media is awesome.

My son said something today, and I am thankful for it. He said, "this is the best year ever." He is 13, and we do talk about the state of the world, but he keeps his focus local.
He is grateful for so much that I've been able to provide him, and he focuses on the positive. I strive to be like him.
