Yall im dealing with anxiety like it’s been my given right. Im dealing with mistakes after mistakes and second guessing everything. My therapist has his work cut out for him this week. I cannot tell if I like the Christmas chicken or not. Trying to figure it out. What do you think? Trying to find joy since January 20th is fast approaching and I’ll have the joy ripped out of me.

This year my kids decorated the elf on the shelf’s village while my husband built her an entire house out of dollar tree supplies. I shouldn’t be jealous but it looks perfect the way they decorated. I’m telling myself I don’t need a picture perfect set just happy kiddos. This is Christmas.

Sometimes thanksgiving is a little rough for those of us that try to keep the peace between childhood traditions and new family traditions. I enjoyed seeing my kids decorate and enjoy food together and watching Christmas movies.
