Businessman with over 30+ years in the oil industry. Experienced, grounded, and hardworking. A devoted pet lover who enjoys traveling and discovering new places. Widowed, with a deep appreciation for loyalty, kindness, and meaningful connection.
It’s really troubling, but unfortunately behavior like this is often learned from the environment around them, online content, peers, and even what they see at home. It really shows how important education and guidance are.

Haha, I love the mantra! Good luck sticking to it, though I have a feeling those new plants and seeds might just sneak their way home anyway

A lot of people are exhausted and angry right now, you’re definitely not alone. The only real way through this is staying engaged, holding leaders accountable through the courts, the press, and the ballot box, and not letting the anger burn us out. It feels endless, but it won’t last forever.

Baxter sounds amazing! There’s nothing like the joy a loving cat brings. I think just sharing his story is enough, he doesn’t need a Bluesky account to brighten everyone’s day!

Absolutely, it’s unfortunate that we still need programs like this, but any step toward teaching respect and equality is a positive one.

I hear you, 2025 has definitely been a challenging year. It would be refreshing to have a leader who genuinely listens to the people and leads with empathy and integrity. I hope the next year brings us someone who truly puts the country first.

Please. One was more than enough. We don’t need a whole cinematic universe.

That’s incredible, what an impact to see a former instructor doing work that’s shaping real-world climate understanding. Modeling GHG emissions down to street level is huge. No wonder it’s getting national attention.

He really is. That book wrecked me in the best way, heartbreaking, but such a powerful story. Wally Lamb never pulls his punches.

Sounds intriguing, Ireland, a bog, and a mystery is a hard combo to resist. Adding this to my TBR 📚🍀

I’ve had moments that felt that way, little things that happened at just the right time. Whether it’s symbolic or spiritual, those moments can bring real comfort.

That’s a meaningful step. Fair maps matter, and a bipartisan agreement like this helps strengthen trust in representation across the Commonwealth.

What matters most is justice for victims. Any proven involvement, by anyone, must be prosecuted. Facts over rumor, always.

That’s the best kind of friendship ❤️ Wishing you both a wonderful weekend too!

Yeah… some people treat jokes like nuclear codes. Not the best hill to die on, apparently.

Your words feel like the quiet of winter itself, bitter, beautiful, and full of longing.

Honestly shocked this doesn’t already exist. My Substack inbox is aspirational reading at this point.

That kind of call matters more than people realize. Even when systems don’t listen, humans do, and you clearly made a human moment happen.

That image feels like Imbolc, quiet power, waiting warmth, and the promise of movement just beneath the stone. Beautiful work.
