Easily. It could have been over a long time ago if (1) Biden would have given full support to allow Ukraine to win vs the slow sprinkle of support designed for Ukraine not to lose (really just to weaken Russia) and (2) Trump wasn’t a Russian asset.

“It takes a village”. Yep. Besides the obvious enablers and supporters of Trump, there were those (like you mentioned) with the power to stop him that didn’t but that list also includes anyone that didn’t vote for Harris because she’s a she, is black, and laughs too much. We can’t have that combo.

Trump has been sabotaging the US since he first entered politics. He is the great divider in chief. Whether he works for a foreign leader or not is irrelevant at this point. He has done more damage than any foreign enemy ever has, and we can expect at least 3 more years of his scorched earth policy.

What I’m saying isn’t rhetoric. What I’m saying is what you’re thinking is possible but not guaranteed. All I’m saying is we will see. There is resistance and it’s getting stronger. Most people are complacent and haven’t woken up yet. The midterms will be the wake up call.

I’m awake and living in the real world. Trump is still meeting resistance. Sometimes the courts are voting against him. Some republicans in congress are voting against his wishes. There are still some limits. He’s scared of the midterms. He wouldn’t be scared if he had absolute power.

I’m hoping for the best but I’m not blind to what’s happening. It feels to me like a lot of people are waiting for the midterms to see what happens. If things go bad in an obvious way, I feel like that will be the real wake up call to the people, and then we will see what happens, good or bad.

I don’t have high expectations, but a sweep by democrats will delegitimize Trump in the minds of most people, even moderate republicans. Whether or not Trump obeys the rules after democrats take control of congress is the big question. He will continue to push the limits that’s for sure.

What you are thinking will happen might happen but it also might not happen. People are unpredictable and surprising sometimes. It’s what happens “after” the midterms that will determine the future of our country.
