UK food and drink inflation is at over 5%

The reason ?

Climate change - and in contrast to the EU - the war against migration creating labour shortages

As Labour pitch even harsher migration controls and climate change worsens this number will go higher

This is just the beginning of the fracturing of Reform's base. Their supporters - 40% - do not typically vote, and as they flounder in council and **raise taxes and cut services**, including SEND, they will start to implode

The far right tends to thrive after the left has failed. After 2008 we saw anti-austerity movts, left populist parties, as well as climate, feminist and BLM movts. Yet the centrists held their ground while capital increased its grip. The far right is the backwash of history

The Climate Squeeze is not only a problem of prices and shortages. It is a question of deteriorating physical and mental health as social and health services are pushed to breaking point. The squeeze makes lives smaller.

Even our hopes and dreams shrink

'The choice is clear. Either we suffer their squeeze, or come together to fight for a real transition, one that that makes space for all of us.'

**taps the sign**

"The US is the world’s largest oil and gas producer. The profoundly destructive ‘shale revolution’ underpinned US economic growth over the past decade and provided a ready source of cheap energy. Any decline in oil and gas usage will undermine the US economy"

And the govt’s crackdown on protest and against ‘NIMBYs’, as well as its continued support for neoliberal privatisation, makes it incredibly safe as a place to invest.

It shouldn’t be this way. No natural monopoly should be run as a private business.
