Do you know how to use a tack hammer? Its also called an upholstry hammer, bootmakers hammer. Its specially designed to put very small nails on the edges of things. I feel like that woukd be helpful for your project.

If you are broke you can still snag a used heatsink for your PC off eBay and improve stability by cooling the CPU better and wafting some air over the memory. If you have a laptop keeping it elevated on a hard surface with a pencil so that it gets airflow will help.

In the future you should consider a workstation from a company like Puget Systems or System76. These are different from gaming PCs because they have more threads and terabytes of memory instead of gigabytes. They aren't as good at gaming but absolutely KILL at 3d software like Blender.
