I hope she reaches peace of mind with her situation. I am an immigrant from England with predominantly pakeha friends. I cherish the people I do know from other cultures especially tangata whenua. Without them
My life would be incomplete.

It's not a slur if it's what you are.

Born male identify as male.

How else would you describe me?

Happy to have a handle for what I am.

I'm not from the US so my voice makes no difference but I will do my bit by calling him "Dunny".
Antipodean slang for hole in the ground with a small shed on top where you go poop.

I feel you. I never did pears but my partner likes them so I bought them for her only to find they were hard and astringent and they got left alone destined for the compost bin but a week later they turned a slightly yellowy colour and tasted crazy good. They are also usually the cheapest

Give packhams pears a try. They are usually sold while hard and underripe but leave them on a sunny windowsill for about a week and they turn into soft, sweet juicy delight. No grit.

Sadly for you the closest will probably be a supermarket in England.
Recommend you buy brie and leave it out for a day or two to go soft, add your favourite flavours when you eat it

🤣 I have two brothers in Massachusetts the rest of my family in England.
We have group chats on festive occasions. Me having breakfast and a cup of coffee in the NZ morning meanwhile they are all well "cellebrated" on the other side of the world.
