The cinematography is fun and knows it needs to be interesting given the movie is very self contained for the most part and it does it well. It's an easy recommendation for me, especially if you're willing to walk with the movie's pace and let it hold it's cards to it's chest.

I want to see character arcs develop and how the situation around the Patrons resolves, but alas. I'll just binge on fan art and fic in the meantime.

2) it's a Valve game, who have been notoriously slow on completing stories when they don't just give up or get bored of it (see; Half-Life 3, an actual narrative game and how long it took for the TF2 comics, which were extra outside the game, to be finished).

It's a fools wish because
1) it's a MOBA where the storytelling isn't required at all in gameplay. It's largely set dressing that adds dimensions to the characters you play and gives you extra content, but it's by no means necessary and doesn't impact what you're doing in-game.
