In NJ the Dem candidate won in a landslide with huge turnout for a state election. Similar in Va. And we had 1000+ at the last No Kings rally in a 70% Trump district. There is cynicism but there is a groundswell of activism too.

It seems likely he will use ICE to intimidate Latino voters in a few key Dem heavy districts. Whether it succeeds or not depends on how close the House and Senate races are and how many are in play. Dems need to play for a landslide. And Dem poll watchers need to be everywhere.

If anyone should know how dangerous it is for a poorly trained man to chase after someone with a gun…..it is Fetterman.

They need a compliant government who will not hinder them from deporting millions of Venezuelans back to Venezuela.

But doesn’t the fact that we are backing away from defending Taiwan to some degree at least reflect that we do not feel confident we could defeat (or even deter) a peer foe like China?

The only way to deal with this is to completely shut off CBS, do not watch a single thing on the network. That is very important.

Remember, in the beginning Little Marco gave up his principles, self esteem, morals, ethics and integrity to get a job with the man who had insulted him. Once he did that he would do anything. That is why dictators often humiliate their subordinates

People warned us about his blatant misogyny. That is almost always a bad sign of other faults too.

Many will say that Trump brings us to a new low; but it is also true that he reflects the will and nature of so many voters. Just as George Wallace did, and David Duke, Nixon, Joe McCarthy, Huey Long, Fr. Conklin, Jeff Davis, Andrew Jackson….

We are in the “ilDuce in Abyssinia” phase of this regime’s push for empire.

I don’t know. Trumps followers are so invested in his continuing to disrupt the world I not sure what would change them. Hopefully the 10% who voted for him who are persuadable is enough to turn the tide in ‘26/‘28.

Nice… My wife’s family are water skiers, summers in all George NY. Her brother later had a custom ski boat on Lake Austin. I tried once and swallowed half the lake….

I love the crossed water skis. Like they are your family crest!

This is a reminder to those who spend their time online: the big difference between the real world and the online social media world is that the real world can have severe kinetic consequences .
