Disney, Wear OS development, Kubrick, bluegrass, the Oxford comma, and who knows what else. I contain multitudes.

At the Vatican pavilion at the 1964 N.Y. World's Fair, when the guard wasn't looking, I licked Michelangelo's Pieta. AMA.

The TWA is breathtaking, and can make anyone a fan of mid-century modern -- right down to the piped-in music.

And don't forget to have a drink in the Connie!

And these things, at a slower rotational speed and MUCH slower linear speed as you get closer to the (tiny) label? I don't hold a lot of hope for high frequencies in minutes 2-4...

I like his (other) work, but his narration for "Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds — the New Generation" was just godawful: every line using the same inflection, with a rise just before the end of a sentence, followed by a fall.

Bradley didn't "decide... to kill two boat strike survivors." It was a verbal order from his boss, Hegsdeth.

And as Hegsdeth says, not obeying illegal orders is "treason."

Hegsdeth should be the one under scrutiny from Congress, not this patsy.

I considered myself an expert on Gene Kelly musicals, and I never heard of this one until tonight!

LOL

I had mine serviced today (brake fluid, radiator flush, inspection; it's a BMW, so that was $900). As always, when I picked the car up the printout says I live 3,000 miles away in an apartment in Los Angeles.

I've tried for 2 years to get them to change it. They're never going to change it.
