Today, I’m announcing my campaign for Illinois State Senate in the 6th District. I’ve spent my career as an organizer, community leader, and policy analyst—working at the federal, state, and city levels. I’ve seen our government up close and I know we can do better.

Second, why has there been no movement in the Senate with regard to HB4086? That bill would ban ICE from covering their faces and require badge numbers be displayed—the barest minimum bill, and there isn’t even a Senate sponsor yet. Call your State Senator’s office and demand they sign on to it.
