This brown skinned landscaper was minding his business on a job in Edgewater when 3 masked ICE thugs took him away. Then on leaving the 3 reportedly got out of their car, turned their guns on a woman and tried to get into her car for apparently driving too close searching for parking near her home

Based on all the social media reports, today may have been the busiest Friday for ICE activity that we’ve seen since this surge started.

With hundreds of police now protecting ICE’s facility for them, presumably ICE is able to deploy more agents to snatch people.

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.

Nearly 20 y ago a handful of people voted on one plan to revitalize the Broadway corridor. It included downzoning from Foster to Devon and resulted in ZERO housing built on the west side.

Today the community fiercely dreams of something better.

we can & should build better than this block long Burlington parking lot on Broadway next to the CTA red line. We want more of what makes city living great: more small biz entrepreneurs, more CTA riders, and more housing opportunities for all people no matter your race or class.

District Judge April Perry, who is presiding over the case, has asked the parties to return to her courtroom at 4:30 p.m.
