X rolled out a new feature overnight showing where accounts are based. This network of “Trump-supporting independent women” that claimed to be “real Americans” are based in Thailand.

The photos were stolen from European models & posts pushed pro-Trump lines while targeting Islam and LGBTQ people.

X is messing with the algorithm to take even your following from chronological to “popular,” allowing them to further manipulate what you see. I’m still on that app because a lot of folks are there including newsmakers but the experience somehow keeps getting worse. Bleh

Nearly 1/3 of patients in cases reviewed by Tribune went to nursing homes that… had an average one-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the lowest possible. Some patients were discharged to homes flagged for patient abuse www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/23/g...

Chicagoland hospitals initiated 100s of guardianship petitions in just 18 months. In many cases, that eased the way for hospitals to discharge patients to subpar nursing homes, sometimes bypassing family members who disagreed with the hospital’s choice. www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/23/g...

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Her dad was taken by immigration agents. Now a 12-year-old girl fears she’s lost her only living parent.
The separation illustrates a tragic consequence of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown: children left behind after a parent is detained or deported.
