My favorite part of my blend of mental health issues is when I procrastinate something for a week and then when I finally do the thing it takes 2 minutes

Absolutely insane that you can run one docker compose and get a full windows VM with RDP in a browser window

A new low for Siri. Notice these are not going to trigger when I arrive at home and the very concept of work has been erased

Bring back text adventure mode please, I liked it better when my computers were predictable

Really enjoyed #StrangerThings s5

I’ll be honest, #StrangerThings season 4 kinda lost me. Idk why I just wasn’t super into it

But halfway through season 5 and I’m loving this last installment

Someone in the restaurant is using an iPhone 11 and it looks impossibly thin

My new favorite Siri glitch is that when I tell it “watch The Snoopy Show in the living room” it does that but it ALSO plays Fall Out Boy on the upstairs HomePod. Has happened twice now

The absolute worst software I use on a regular basis has got to be Cricut Design Studio

They should’ve called it the Snooper Bowl Halftime Show

The fact that my iPhone 16 Pro Max overheats like crazy when I just take a bunch of pictures is infuriating

Me, still rocking a 2019 Intel MBP that has zero Liquid Glass because it isn’t compatible with macOS 26

I’m a pretty clumsy person, which means I drop things fairly often. Ironically, this gives me lots of practice catching falling objects

So now, fairly often, I drop something and then catch it before it hits the ground. Which makes me look like some kind of ninja

I’m rapidly adopting the opinion that there’s a real ceiling on the size of a viable smart home

Automating a 1 bedroom apartment is a tractable problem. Automating a two story house just might not be feasible

I’ve watched this at least 20 times today 😂

I also like that “the Devil” is wearing a Toon Squad jersey, which implies that the Tasmanian Devil from Loony Toons is also the Devil from the Bible

Does anyone have any good resources about parenting and mental health? Real talk is that I’ve been struggling to find a balance lately and I’m trying to find something new to try

The true trolley problem is that there are not enough trolleys

I am willing to accept more trolley problems if it means more public transportation gets built

Just heard an ad for T-Mobile that said you could switch to T-Mobile on your phone in just 15 minutes, and I guess with eSIMs you really can just do that. At home. That’s wild to me

If you weren’t aware, VSCodium is a thing, and it’s VSCode without any of the Microsoft nonsense (think Chrome vs. Chromium)
mcc (@[email protected])
Nothing I see here dissuades me from my belief that giving away VS Code free was an attempt to kill Sublime Text, the way MSIE was meant to kill Netscape. The follow-on thought "well, maybe it's anticompetitive manipulation, at least it's open source" runs into the problem that once you look closer VSCode appears to not be real open source
