I don’t know anyone who’s got Sky anymore. They got greedy charging people extra for movies and sky sports. Think most people are watching football on a firestick. If the Premier League creates they’re own streaming platform that’s Sky Sports done with

Yeah there’s the different sporting cultures to consider but they’ve got two things we don’t have; money and strong leadership.

I’m not sure they’d turn SL into a feeder comp. Why would they invest in SL then damage and undermine the comp
Of course Vegas benefits NRL but it was Skys most watched SL game (bar covid)

I’m not sure they’d turn SL into a feeder comp. Why would they invest in SL then damage and undermine the comp

A bigger player pool and competitive French team and an England team that can beat Australia.
They’ve moved the Ashes to England this year and want SL to have a part in Vegas.
I think attitudes in Aus towards the international game are changing and they see the benefits of investing in SL

They clearly see the benefit of expansion. Improving the game in the Northern Hemisphere would benefit the NRL and international rl

If that the case my three main questions from today are:
1) What was wrong with IMGs game wide review?
2) How much will it cost to bring the IMG partnership to an end?
3) What are IMG doing that the clubs aren’t happy with?

If NRL do come in, where does it leave IMG? RFL paying IMG millions for the NRL to just come and rip up the script?
