Agreed.

Always seems to fall off towards the end of the season. I think managing the expectations at Arsenal was too much for him. He also had some personalities that he couldn’t seem to deal with. Villa seems like a good fit.

I think we’ve had to because of all the noise and I think, to his credit, he holds himself to higher standards (that’s what I like about him).

91, by the way!
December 6, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Bored with the injury excuses, not with the team.
December 6, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Most definitely, yes. However, you have great facilities which can only be built through investment.
December 6, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Alternatively, you can choose just not to respond.
December 6, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Why us and not, say, Liverpool or Man City., then? As the Manager said today, you can’t use it as an excuse.
December 6, 2025 at 4:37 PM
It’ll be the mids next then. Something has to change.
December 6, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Know many Spurs fans do you? Quite a lot of my mates are Spurs fans, I certainly don’t sound like them. Nothing wrong in being disappointed, it was a great chance to lay down a marker today.
December 6, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Even the manager said today, you can’t use injuries as an excuse.
December 6, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Quite aware, thanks. The question is, why? It happens every year and it can’t just be down to bad luck.
December 6, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Can’t invest the money they have in building a deep squad and using injuries as an as an excuse this year. Either they’re buying the wrong players or there’s an issue with the medical team.
December 6, 2025 at 4:17 PM
The standard of fielding in both Men and Women’s England teams suggest neither should get paid!
December 6, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Then …. Why respond? You have a good night, too!
December 6, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Yes, Rice And Zubi are getting run into the ground.
December 6, 2025 at 3:32 PM
I thought he was a really sound buy but seems like Arteta doesn’t fancy him.
December 6, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Good for you but you can’t make excuses every year. The back-ups weren’t up to it today.
December 6, 2025 at 3:18 PM
Been supporting the club for over 50 years, buddy! Used to be a season ticket holder in the good old, bad old days.
December 6, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Stay where, buddy?
December 6, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Every year though, gets boring.
December 6, 2025 at 3:01 PM
They play same amount of games as we do, it should not be an excuse.
December 6, 2025 at 2:49 PM
I thought he was weak today. I expected him to be a lot stronger.
