Romney doesn't put a foot wrong in his new op-ed. The FICA cap should be lifted. Stepped-up basis should be repealed. Tariffs are regressive. We should tax carried interest. And we're heading for a deficit cliff.
But these things were all true in 2012, when he could have DONE something about them.

To connect the dots very simply: If property taxes are slashed, student outcomes will be worse. Not exactly rocket science, but state and local policymakers cannot hear this enough.
