How does the US combine all these policies:
1. Seeing China as an enemy
2. Not helping Taiwan*
3. Having a one-China policy
4. Telling Japan and South Korea to step up

* selling super expensive weaponry is not helping, it's profiting

How cannot being am easily verifiable obvious malignant narcissist, a very serious psychiatrical condition, especially for a president, be enough medical grounds to invoke the 25th amendment? Dementia is like a non-issue in comparison.

US sells F-35 to Saudi Arabia. Is that safe hands for that kind of tech? And intellegence? Assuming that Trump and his lie detector-avoiding appointees' hands are.

What does this mean for the other users of the F-35? Because what they know, the Saudis, full partners according to Trump, will know.

Cancelling the Colbert Show but give a razor-sharp guy like that 10 more months where they basically have nothing to threat him with?

What is stopping him from going after them even harder now?
And if they'd cancel him even earlier because of that, would that not look even worse?

The "blue state subsidy" alludes to the fact that red states *strongly* tend to be net contributors to the federal budget, and blue states are beneficiaries.

Just if you wondered how thorougly misguided these literally poor people are.

So Putin is calling Zelensky, a Jewish president, a nazi.
And Trump is trying to shut down Harvard because of antisemitism.

It is not like authoritarians impress with their inventiveness. On the other hand, they don't have to.

It seem that Trump can pardon those that in the administration that the supreme court finds in contempt and reinstate them. Doesn't this mean that in practice, he is unchecked? And as long as his crazy minions does what he tells them, he is a dictator?

Just learned how low age is a detriment for a pope candidate:
Being young, you might end up leading the Catholic church for *decades*. None of the cardinals will live to be pope. And after a while, the pope will have chosen almost all the cardinals.

It is actually an crazy vote of confidence.

After literally deporting critics, it is clear to all that this US administration aims to be its last. How long before opinion polls will start showing weird results out of fears of repercussions? People on the street fearing to criticize? Opposition harassed? Jailed?

When the medias contacted SEC about the obvious market manipulations of the current administration, they offered no comments.

Well obviously its head wouldn't bite the hand feeding him.

They sure know where to put who, the plutocrats.

No one seem to be asking the most important question:
What will the administration do with the revenues from all these tariffs that people will now pay?

Because given the other actions, the *only* purpose seem to be to finance tax cuts for rich people?

Re: Korea/Japan/China free trade + Taiwan tariffs:
1. Would China prefer a free-trading, unified Korea as its southern neighbour instead of a nuclear manchild?
2. Taiwan + Free trade => "One China light" narrative?
3. ...because China can also expand to into a weakened Russia.

Worried about Trump attacking Greenland et al? It would be a clear war crime and military would have a legal responsibility to refuse.

The US pressures Ukraine and gives large concessions to Russia without them really having to conceed anything.

Basically, it is shameful.

Is now Trump, in practice, a dictator?

Because he is actually acting above the law, ignoring federal judges, explicitly there to rein in the executive power.

I just realized that while Trumps erratic behaviour might benefit Putin, the russian leadership cannot sleep well.

He is obviously an asset, but also extremely fickle and not all powerful. Russia have to trust someone that can't be trusted. But Ukraine soon doesn't. Makes me feel a little better.

So Dems..I am not asking you to make AOC the next president right now. That's Buttigieg. But you need to realize that she is the future. Start making room and adjustments.
Like by start being more different from the GOP.
Or you will have nothing to say by midterms.

So. It is interesting this. If Russia agrees to the ceasefire, they will have to agree on a ceasefire with Ukrainian soldiers on Russian soil. :-)

But it is only fair, since Ukraine have Russian soldiers on theirs. But I *very* much don't think that Russia will accepts it.

If democracy survives, let's:
* Have debates, not talking points
* Fact check
..and not:
* accept fallacies
* take politicians statements lightly
* talk down to people.

*all* must take responsibility and engage in our democracies. If not, we will share this awful experience with our grandchildren.

To predict Trump, my thinking is that he will do what best for himself personally. So he has elevated people in the anti-aging field, screwed Zelensky, made enemies, undermined the justice and educational system and started project 2025.
And so on.

Next: The removal of Russian sanctions.

Minerals are very important for the US industry. So Trump throws away a super-beneficial mineral deal and starts trade wars with the other potential suppliers.

Artful dealing and 5-d-chess indeed.
