That’s encouraging! I confess I’ve mostly only heard stories of DSA chapters aligning with NIMBYs to kill housing projects because they were mad about a developer making some profit off of it (Denver famously had this happen).

Not necessarily. Klein and Thompson were clear that their concept is Union-centric. They’re more agnostic about rent “protection” beyond the need to increase supply to match demand. It’s more a common sense governing philosophy than a campaign message.

That’s fair. I was thinking more of the fact that DSA types tend to get irrationally mad about “Abundance™️”, but Zohran is actually pro-Abundance and they don’t seem to care because he’s in-group.
