Sorry but Shelton coming in here claiming the Twins are going to play "competitive, fundamental baseball" after getting fired by a team that was non-competitive and fundamentally disastrous is just not compelling.

There's no rush with any of those guys though. I'm not saying you need to plan around Larnach as a long-term piece anymore but at least see if he can rebound and recoup a little value.

I'm not a believer in Roden and I'm not sure why anyone would be? At least Larnach has shown he can be an average MLB hitter as a base. Twins aren't swimming with good DH options also.

Personally I don't think selling this low on a former first-round pick makes sense. Seems like the kind of guy that will go elsewhere and rake, and make this FO look bad once again. There's nothing pushing them to move on right now other than "Alan Roden"
