RIP Terence Stamp. I can heartily recommend Double Feature, one of the most beautifully written and least self-serving memoirs I’ve ever read. “I was on such an ego trip it took a while to realise the Sixties weren’t only happening to me.”

Happy 50th, Jaws, you perfect apex predator of a movie. I remember the buzz of holding this original clapperboard from the filming. It went on to sell for £70,000, which is why I'm wearing gloves - wouldn't want to devalue it with my DNA, now would we? I've got city hands, as Quint would say...

RIP Clem Burke, Blondie's dazzling powerhouse of a drummer (just listen to Dreaming). I've always loved this photo by Chris Stein, where Clem and Debbie seem to have stepped into the city from another time, another planet altogether.
