How about we flip it? Did anybody believe this? How many people primarily motivated by LGBT rights thought "well I am gonna switch parties now" because of this silly picture in 2016? Few if any. This is my point. Stop pandering to people who hate.

This also goes for trans rights too btw. After throwing trans people under the bus, here's City Journal (a product of the conservative Manhattan Institute for Policy Research) saying that it doesn't matter what he says. If your solely motivated by hating trans people, you'll never vote Democrat.

Here's the Heritage Foundation talking about how Trump 1 reversed Obama's "nonenforcement and open borders policy" in 2017. Because facts don't matter and a person who wants a Berlin Wall-style militarized border will never vote Democrat no matter how draconian you make our border policy.

See this is VITAL for liberals to understand why moving right on certain issues won't peel off voters from the GOP and will only serve to alienate your own voters.

For the last two items, I really have no excuse other than liking to have an easy Sunday morning. The Episcopal church is right next to Logan Pride where the 40+ group meets like a half hour after Sunday service ends. I could go to both on Sunday morning this week.

My goals for 2026. IDK about some of the weight-lifting goals. They're shots in the dark. This is me getting started back on a healthy lifestyle so don't judge my somewhat weak cardio goals.

My favorite part about the name change is they didn't even bother to take the second "The" down and it's somehow a "memorial center" for a living dude currently serving as President.
