Starmers time is coming to an end as by appointing Mandelson he has shown his enemies and many of the public his politics are no different to Johnson et al. Reform will go big on this and the need for radical change. Starmer has been naive in being so timid in his administration

Mandleson exposes the totally out dated processes our democracy holds dear in favouring the privileged classes and their honours.
It makes a mockery of the tame and pathetic reforms Labour are proposing for Parliament. No wonder Reform UK gain support from these events!
Time to be bold and reform
February 3, 2026 at 8:20 PM
Pippa. Have you asked Govt how they intend stopping such practises in the future and why the press don’t refuse anonymous briefings from politicians?
February 3, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Yet Mandelson will remain a Peer for the rest of his life

HOL reform now!

Jeffery Archer?

The list goes on and on

As supposedly a modern democracy we seem inept at putting in place rules to remove peerages for suspect behaviour or have them relinquished when a minister who received one to join the cabinet leaves office. Pathetic!

This travesty has been widely underreported by the media for years as it doesn’t affect their children
Well done Lewis but don’t let it fall off the agenda

The negative impact of the link between Gas and electricity prices has been known about since it was introduced but it seems to come as a big surprise to the Press
January 28, 2026 at 10:57 AM
It’s a tragedy that we have a Press in the UK who are only interested in Political tittle tattle rather than the details of the policies which affect our lives.
January 28, 2026 at 10:57 AM
Starmer has brought this situation on himself by not leading the party and govt in an effective manner and surrounding himself with a weak team
January 26, 2026 at 12:55 PM
Is another Keir U Turn on the cards?
January 25, 2026 at 5:10 PM
Why don’t the media ask him and his “party” for a comment?
January 23, 2026 at 5:08 PM
Any comment from Farage?
January 23, 2026 at 11:44 AM
Next step is Trump saying give me Greenland or I pull out of Ukraine and let Russia win
January 21, 2026 at 7:09 PM
Why haven’t we heard from Lisa Nandy on this?
Govt need to start conversing with the public on this and other issues facing the Country
January 9, 2026 at 7:12 AM
Time for a 3 month consultation if past practice is anything to go by
January 9, 2026 at 6:31 AM
It’s a repeat of Brexit with untrue and unworkable actions being proposed with little proper analysis to show they won’t work with the media afraid to challenge the lies
December 22, 2025 at 9:11 AM
How about the proceeds of crime act?
December 21, 2025 at 1:16 PM
How about the 8 o,clock briefing?
December 1, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Labour need to get their act together and review their comms strategy as it was ridiculous to give any info ahead of the Budget and a gift for the right wing press
December 1, 2025 at 2:35 PM
The question no journalist wants to ask the Energy Secretary

It’s a symptom of our dumbed down media that they don’t know the questions to ask!
November 27, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Could you do a comparison with the UKs drone capability?
