(in this house we honor the memory of cecilia giménez, a friend made this cross-stitch iteration of ‘ecce homo’ which hangs in my front hall when you enter my house)

i don’t know why i keep doing novelty runs like this but here we are again (take a picture in front of all of the holiday windows of flour bakery, a local cafe chain, get a box of those goodies in january. a friend drew an unofficial half-marathon route a few years back and now it’s semi-real)

and the quiche

at first, milo was not allowed on top of the kitchen cabinets. then, he was. now, he’s got a damn cat bed up there. how did my himbo cat play me so hard.

“The audio industry has had a spectacularly bad couple of years, and the people who came to Resonate were, for the most part, not the ones who got rich in the boom times. I spoke with one producer, Nick Andersen, who was currently working in a cheese shop. He said he felt like a failure for taking work outside the industry, but he also talked about the process of cheddaring with such specificity and enthusiasm that I couldn’t help but think of titles for a cheese-based show. After all, he told me that people care less about the actual cheese they’re buying than about the stories the cheeses tell. They buy stories with their hunks of brie that they can share later around their dinner tables.”

you’re truly not prepared for the level of detail on this ~s P o O k Y~ take on the louvre heist in my camberville neighborhood
