I enjoy chatting with people but I rarely ever make the first move. It’s particularly frustrating as I’m making a conscious effort to be more social. But I always fall back to the idea that my interests are too niche and ‘small talk’ too boring that I just don’t know what to do.

At 5:00 today, I’ll be quietly logging out for the last time after 10 years with this company. No fanfare. No thank you. No good luck. It’s a shame that the place I once loved has become unbearable.
But now, I’ll have 10 days to shake it off before embarking on an exciting and new adventure. ☺️
