Can't believe you've not been. Excellent pub, great food, reasonably priced. Definitely a recommendation. Also if you like Indian food, there is a cafe called Rosa's on Lichfield St. Street food. Fab.

We saw a youth orchestra play it in Birmingham (UK) earlier this year. It was fabulous.

Flying to Frankfurt tomorrow. Masks packed for the plane for sure. I picked up some ghastly thing at either a conference last week or on the train. Don't need any more lurgy thanks!

I worked for the UK office of a German company with a mix of English and Germans. Our hobby was literal translations of German phrases or compound nouns. German for runaways was always a favourite!

I used to work in manufacturing and it was always the same there, just as though Christmas shutdown had never happened before!

There is nothing wrong with late 70s music. Early 80s is also excellent. I'd say it shows greay musical taste!

Sat in the pub tonight listening to some bloke in his 30s saying the lifting of the cap would mean women would just start having 6 kids hy 6 different men. Cos of course his family NEVER benefited from child benefit. Keeping quiet was vv hard.

We (me and husband) have been learning to dance for about 18 months. This really made us realise how much they have learnt. And remembered. Very impressed. We can't remember the bl**dy steps of our current dance from 1 week to the next!!
