Gary “Mani” Mounfield, best known as a founding member and bassist of the Stone Roses, has died aged 63. The cause of death has not been shared.

Boris Johnson’s appointee is accused of pushing claims of institutional bias at the corporation after shock resignations
MPs and BBC staff members have called for Robbie Gibb to be removed from the corporation’s board as outgoing director general Tim Davie hit out at the “weaponisation” of criticisms of the broadcaster.

Anybody who had a vision to bring American levels of political, cultural and social polarisation to Britain - whether their motive was clicks or cash, ideology, boredom or anything else - would make it their top strategic priority to abolish the BBC, or to damage and diminish it at the very least

What a rollercoaster match tonight in Milan v Roma ! All Roma first half until Milan scored on 39 minutes with their first chance. Incredibly disappointing to see Paolo miss his first penalty at such a crucial moment to equalise. The chance to go top alone has slipped away for now, but playing well.
