Feel like this is setting Yuki up for failure at his home GP. Throwing him out there with little to no time on the track sounds like a terrible idea from his angle.

Oh I don’t blame Eichel for wanting to leave this s.s., but he’s not absolvent of blame as captain of this team.
Also, letting the $10mill/year player (who prev requested a trade) be the guinea pig on a procedure was not bad logic imo. Clearly they preferred someone else take care of it.

We’re pretending the Sabres didn’t sell out during the drought? It def fell off after COVID and hasn’t come back. They sold out the arena for a prospect challenge in July after Eichel was drafted. This team hasn’t gotten nothing but support. What have they given back in return??

I think players carry about a teams success first - everything l takes care of itself after that. If the Bills/Allen didn’t drive that home already, nothing will. Players don’t care about the 17 year drought anymore..or palm trees..or taxes.
