Was it scary? I love escape rooms but would hate the ones that have jump scares or any kind of horridness!!

Any plans for A Level papers to be on there too?

Also ‘mini whiteboard quick questions’ are great, a colleague wrote a PowerPoint with absolutely loads of them and every now and then I pick 10 to do at the start of a lesson

I use mathsbox ALevel 5 questions for a starter, students complete them on big whiteboards around the room in pairs, they are always a mix of previous topics, sometimes I have to swap a question if we haven’t done it yet but mostly you can use them as is!

I felt exactly the same today, it’s my 22nd year and I still felt overwhelmed! And there’s never enough time to get everything ready!!

This is what I am hoping!!

Yes, it would be tricky with multiple calculators! We have 300 year 12 students taking maths, so that’s a v big initial outlay for the college!! 🙈 We do sell them all though, because they have to have them and it’s cheaper than getting it online!!

We bulk buy the calculators so we sell it to students for £70, we buy them back for £35 and sell some second hand ones to the new students, so only £35 for 2 years use. (Bursary students get them for free) I also think they give them an advantage in the exam if they are taught to use them properly!

Oh dear, sounds stressful! Glad you enjoyed it in the end

Amazing to have this so quickly! Thanks Emily!

We’ve been here but on our way to London for a two day trip! It’s a good day out! Next time we’re going to the Silverstone museum with a ks5 workshop instead! Hope it’s good!

Hi, we bulk buy them and sell them cheaper to the students anyway, so they are around £70. They can opt to pay in instalments over the year. We also buy some back from them when they leave and sell the second hand ones for £35. The bursary students get it for free. It hasn’t been a problem.
