It's been almost 20 years since I last saw and spoke to my father. I visited him in the hospital, the evening of my first Schuylkill Symphony concert in October 2005. The next morning he was gone.

Don't know if this black kitten is from Socks or another mama. This is one of the first kittens that I've seen in a while other than the one that looks just like Socks!

Puppy play time! I kept hoping that the two of them would become friends and play and it took a few weeks, maybe even a month or more, but I think they've gotten there now!

Usually I don't post stuff on social media while I'm at work, but I'm actually out of my office and in our Arts and Humanities Academy. Being a musician since I was young, makes me feel like I'm home.

I tried to highlight the ones in yellow, that have either already been put into place, or have been mentioned or are in the works. When you look at the ones that haven't been completed, do you really want this government to allow this to happen to everyone?

Look who came for a visit tonight! I was out with Katie and Abbey, right after I got home, and we went around to the far side of the house, and lo and behold, there was the herd of all six of them on the opposite side of the yard. I did what I always do when I see them I waved and yelled hi there!

Abbey is not totally thrilled with Katie yet, she has been sort of turning her face away from her in disgust, I guess. I know that they'll get used to each other, Katie's having no problem whatsoever with Abbey,

This little girl has already stolen my heart. She is the sweetest little girl I've ever had. Abbey is very sweet, but Katie is even more so! Never thought I'd have a dog as loving as she is.

So, get ready for some pictures of the new pup. The shelter thinks that Katie is a mix of a Yorkie and possibly some kind of terrier, and she's between 1 1/2 and 2 years old. She is doing a lot of the exact same mannerisms that Pluto did, so of course that makes me think that he sent her to me.

So, get ready for some pictures of the new pup. The shelter thinks that Katie is a mix of a Yorkie and possibly some kind of terrier, and she's between 1 1/2 and 2 years old. She is doing a lot of the exact same mannerisms that Pluto did, so of course that makes me think that he sent her to me.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I had two dogs, I lost Pluto about 10 weeks ago, and I have been crying terribly because I've missed him so much. I think I missed him so much because I still had work to do on him and I've been worried about Abbey as well because she has not taken his loss well.

Jasper (the orange one, I just named them) and Socks (the black and white one...the one that ISN'T Jasper) came for a visit. I think I have created a monster. Socks came first and just sat there at the front door looking in at me until I got them food, lol.

So, I came home from work today, and Socks was waiting for me for food, lol. I just came home from visiting my mom, and the deer were waiting in the backyard, for food, lol. It's the best $2.50 worth of entertainment that I spend. Costs that much for 2 bags of apples that are starting to get soft.

And, kitty #2 is back to visit Chez Nicole.
In addition to the dry kibble entree, there was some flaked shrimp and flaked salmon supplied as an appetizer, lol. Since it is above freezing, I put out some of the canned food as well, and they are happy to dig into it.

So, I spent a good chunk of the afternoon working on this. Why? Two reasons. One, with how things are progressing in this country, I am truly afraid that many of us will not live to see 2026. 1/3
