Young naive early 2000s me was curious abt issues showing ID to vote. I learned it disenfranchises - esp. black/POC voters. Not everyone has a driver's license/ID/passport, can afford the fees or has transportation to obtain one. It reminded me of Jim Crow era intelligence testing to vote. No deals.
