Never really noticed until now how similar this games story is to Metropolis and Blade Runner, two of my favorite movies. But it does explain why the original FF7 is up there as one of my favs oat.

One of my favorite sci-fi tropes is a literal class divide, with the rich living in the luxurious upper city and the poor living in the dingy lower city, and FF7RI does such a good job portraying that. The fact that I can look up in the slums and see the bottom of the upper city is so cool.

Want to take a moment to say how blown away I am by #FinalFantasyVIIRemakeIntergrade on Switch 2. By the time gameplay started, five minutes after I had booted the game, I had completely forgot I was playing it on a Switch. It runs so well and looks so good, seriously one of the most impressive
