If there is any silver lining, it's that the loss of my greatest source of comfort has forced me to be more present with the people who matter in my life. To be a better partner, a better son, and a better friend. I am doing my best to fill my life with love, he wouldn't want me to shut myself away💜
After Bear passed I have felt anything but festive. We decided to make our piano his shrine, as it was one of his favoite spots in the house. We initially got him around Christmas, so it is only fitting that we still celebrate his love this season. Merry Christmas Piano Boy ❤️

Still slowly working towards the shiny charm in ZA but really don't know if it is worth it... already have more shiny mons in this one save file than I have gotten in over 2 decades playing the series

Today was supposed to be wear white to work day at the office. Only 10 people showed up, and I am the only one in white. That's what i get for trying to participate at work functions!

Last night had a much needed get together with the college friend group. Most of them have kids now so it is harder for all of us to come together as a group, but sharing stories and baked goods while their kids all play together in the background filled my heart with such joy 💜 life isn't all bad

Cancel all your streaming services, get an old DVD player at goodwill, then go to your local library to pick out movies/shows like the Blockbuster days. Add some popcorn and candy. Perfect date

I think it is time for a postive photo dump. If I have any regrets it would be not getting more photos of him. These show just how much he loved me, just ignore my messy hair and behold the cuddles and kisses I was lucky to have daily for years 💜

We decided to walk around town and discovered the holiday night market. Got a bag of snickerdoodle popcorn and watched the lighting of the tree. Even though these days and nights will be challenging, I am happy I have a partner in crime with whom I can face them 💜

The hardest part of waking up now is the deafening silence in our home. The realization that he isn't nestled behind my knees in his spot on our bed. Every little noise I tense up as if just waiting to hear him come thundering down the hallway to me. Part of me has died, I am not the same person

On Dec. 3rd 2025, our hearts were shattered. After fighting nearly a week to turn it around, Bear continued to regress, not eating or drinking or relieving himself. We had to make the hardest decision of our lives, to allow him to pass peacefully. He was the best boy.
