Love to know more about number 1.

Flood defence schemes take years to plan. I suspect most, if not all of these, are a success of the last government.

Additionally, while capital budgets rise, resource budgets continue to fall, leaving existing defences falling into disrepair.

The inability of so many people in this country to separate the perpetrators of a crime from those who just happen to share a faith remains something I cannot understand.

It's othering, in whatever form it takes.

It's very firmly Reform out there.

If you visit the East of the county there's so many union flags and even the occasional Trump flag.

Even in what are clearly quite affluent areas.

I was asked where I was going by French boarder control on a trip there in the 20th September.

My mangled French pronunciation of Meuse and Ardennes seemed to trigger an immediate loss of interest.

If all else fails, pig ignorance will see us through.

There's no doubt about that. A digital trigger for overstaying our welcome will be easier to manager.

But (and I guess I'm being hopeful) I do still think the current additional requirements will remain more ad-hoc.

There's no doubt that the lack of education plays a massive role.

Of the people I knew in the Peterborough area, nearly all went to Uni.

By the end of my course, we'd moved to rural Lincolnshire. Suddenly I was one of the few.

There was a real aspirational gap.

I think lives on.
