![It's almost like... the Law no longer exists as an egalitarian, societal expectation. What the Administration's response to the shooting (murder) of Ms Good illustrates is that the Law is now merely a nostalgic glamour of convenience. You'll notice that the PoT [ie. Party of Trump, the GOP was functionally superceded at least two years ago at the 2024 RNC] that the PoT takes any action it wishes but insists Democrats, & the citizenry generally, get their panties in a bunch worrying about formalities that no longer have an impact in reality. As long as the current bench of SCOTUS sits, there is no Law in the United States, so-called, beyond the whim of the King - the Law, Midterms, etc are now distractions from the appropriate triage/focus of energy: removing all fascist agents, political & commercial, that are formal, or merely supporting, members of the PoT. Does any US public servant remember that funny line in the Oath about enemies "foreign and domestic "?
