Lives in Cambridge. Rides a bike. Sometimes rides it a long way.
By coincidence my Brompton and I are heading from Antwerp to Cambridge today. #crossborderrail

I presume you don't want to ride on the various roads through those squares because of motor traffic. One workaround is to ride them very early on a Sunday morning, perhaps 5am (summer best), when the roads are empty. I've done that once or twice here in Cambridgeshire.

I'd suggest @cyclinguk.bsky.social (UK) and my local equivalent @camcycle.bsky.social (Cambridge, Britain's cycling capital)

Cambridge cattle grids for cycle routes
We get many enquiries from Local Authorities around the UK asking about the cattle grids used on Cambridge cycle routes. They are an excellent alternative to bollard arrangements.

"The first class compartment at the rear of Thameslink trains is always declassified." I use it every time I travel from Cambridge. Much nicer seats, power sockets too. www.thameslinkrailway.com/tickets-and-...
