I’m delighted to share the first in a series of my festive works: a set of variations on the old English Boar’s Head Carol, written in 2001. Unlike many of my variation pieces, this one keeps the carol’s melody close to the surface #christmasmusic

I’ve just released App::Test::Generator 0.16, a significant step forward in advancing testing automation into more modern and rigorous territory. App::Test::Generator is now better positioned for large-scale automated test synthesis in modern environments.

The Ash Grove is, in all likelihood, my most widely performed work. Over the years, it has found a home with brass bands and concert bands alike, and even inspired a big band arrangement, proof, perhaps, of the tune’s remarkable adaptability.
