The USSR were on the side of the Germans and invaded Poland at the start of the war. After Germany turned on them they only avoided defeat with the help of the allies. So I'd say "No".

We have good wealth taxes e.g. SDLT, stamp duty on share purchases and inheritance tax. Let's support the government in collecting and improving them. Stop supporting the undeserving (children of the) rich!
