I love that "TV-MA" means both a show with graphic torture and multiple full penetration orgies and also one where a guy says "shit".

I mean, they've gotta know they're going to collapse in the next 2 years anyway, right?

Sadly, no.
I saw the big intersection map of that and 90% of it is "In a giant fight scene in space if you zoom in on this frame you can see an X-wing and the Serenity, therefore Star Wars and Firefly occur in the same universe as Star Trek."

Very few real connections.

It's clear that's exactly what's happening. It's the reason it can't give an answer.
I would wager the story he posted is entirely an AI invention and none of that is happening.

The thing you have to remember is that these people are not only deeply stupid, they've been told their whole lives that they are geniuses and that everyone else is stupid.

Part of it was revenue growth. By spending that $30b in compute, they got an extra $5b or so in revenue.
Now you get articles like this one talking about how they "doubled their revenue" in 2025, which will justify a new round of funding.

It's already hallucinating things like saying Anthropic had $100b in revenue.

We spent the last 30 years telling programmers that because what they do makes money, they are the smartest people on the planet doing the most challenging work.
Now they think that the thing that helps them code can do anything and think everyone else must be too stupid to understand how to use it.

He was asked dozens of times in that thread what he's making and his answers ranged from "I don't have time to tell you" to "look it up" to "money".
So, probably a birthday party planning app for cats or something.

What are you talking about? Anthropic had $1b in 2025. It was $9b this year. Meanwhile, it's burning through five times that in compute alone. And they had to raise $30b to afford it.

The fact you're refusing to answer what your product is while lying about demand should be deeply troubling.
