Odd day for me. I'm the #LibDem Councillor for Dean where the Veep is holed up. Went into Chipping Norton to pop into the independent bookshop, listening to this ep on the way. Said bookshop was crawling with secret service as Vance and family were paying a visit. Quite surreal.

And I'll give you another tip. If it's reversible, use it during the winter and it will push the warm air in the ceiling downwards towards occupants. 👍

I remember vividly the first time I heard this. A couple of school bands were putting on a gig in the school hall. The sound guys played this while we waited. My mind was blown.

As a Councillor elsewhere who sits on an Audit & Governance Committee, I think this is the real ploy.
My reasoning is because pretty much all of this stuff is in the public domain. So few of the docs we discuss are not in the public pack.

All good news, but my view is the Tories are losing both to RUK and LDs. I think Labour are losing to RUK too. Be good to get a better breakdown on that.

I was appalled by Starmer on immigration & Liz S-R reply. @sturdyalex.bsky.social & I have aligned values. The problem I have always had with Lab & why I'm LD, is that they exist to represent a constituency, as opposed to being guided by a set of values. Sadly for Alex, their constituency has moved.

This is highly underestimated. I was elected an LD Councillor last year. The structures available to us to hit the ground running ... particularly @assoclibdemcllrs.bsky.social and other experienced councillors was invaluable. Reform have absolutely nothing.

I was at Cardiff Uni around the time they hit it big. They were massive for the local audience. Not so much my sort of thing but lots of friends reached about their live shows ... particularly for Welsh audiences. He was def one of the good guys.
