This sadly is reminiscent of UK letting Germany take the Sudetenland in the 30’s. Imagine someone saying to the US since Russia had taken 20% of the US, the US should just accept the peace deal of losing 20% of the US. If one finds that unacceptable, than so should Ukraine with this “peace”proposal.
