of the original, sure! the remake is a lil too po-faced to make stuff like “this is where we go our Seperate Ways™” land for me. still enjoyable as a fresh way to play a game i’ve loved for like two decades though

i assume all this dialogue is just to massage you through the slopmines of triple-A but anyone with an ounce of pride is surely going to be maddened by it

you’d think the days of labour (crafting a raccoon taxidermy model, writing and translating the script, making the model interactable, voicing the dialogue) for a single moment of “Hey Remember Resident Evil 2” might constitute a make-work scheme but no they’re still laying people off
